Pakistan given £19 million for domestic law enforcement

Pakistan is currently receiving money for a scheme to protect communities in Pakistan. Running until 2030, £498,873 out of a total £18,698,347 has been spent already. The programme is aimed at preventing sexual abuse in Pakistan. 

 

Investigations campaign manager, Callum McGoldrick, said: "Taxpayers will view this as a completely unacceptable use of precious resources.

"With the chancellor set to pile on the pressure in the upcoming budget through punitive tax hikes, the need to focus on spending on the public’s priorities only grows."
